Healthcare service utilizing life log by wearable devices
Masahiro Ogino
Senior Researcher
Center for Technology Innovation-Healthcare Research & Development Group
Hitachi, Ltd.
In recent years, small and lightweight wearable devices powered by sensors have been spreading. Technology for visualizing human life as "life log" from sensor data is required to utilize for healthcare and watching care. In this presentation, we will explain analytical technologies to identify behaviors and health conditions from the patterns of acceleration sensor data. As an application example, we introduce healthcare services that encourage behavioral changes by lifestyle guidance and recommendations using life log data.

Wearable Sensors for Healthcare Field Applications
Koji Miyamoto
General Manager (BU head)
Sensor Systems Business Company IoT Systems Business Unit
TDK Corp.
TDK has positioned wearable sensors, which are a component of the so-called Internet of Things (IoT), as key devices in a broad range of healthcare fields including preventive medicine, prognosis and nursing care, fleet management and productivity improvement. Wearable sensors can not only transfers data, gathered by using sensors, to cloud databases but also they can independently make complex data and signal processing and analysis., which can add more value to themselves. I will introduce those with examples such as the digital thermometer for Basal Body Temperature and the Wristband for medical and nursing care for 24-hour remote monitoring system.
